Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 10 September 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what is and is not allowed when using the software, services and websites of Lypso Software FZCO ("Lypso Software", "we", "us"). It forms part of every Customer Agreement and of the Terms of Use of this website. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the relevant Customer Agreement.

2. Who our customers are

We provide software to registered businesses under written agreements. Before a customer starts using our products we verify the identity of the business and of the individuals who control it, and we may repeat those checks during the relationship. We refuse or end relationships when verification is not possible or when this policy is breached.

3. Prohibited uses

You must not use our products or services, and must not allow anyone else to use them, to:

  1. Break the law. Do anything that is illegal under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, of the country where you operate, or of the country where the people you communicate with are located.
  2. Harm minors. Create, store, distribute, promote or facilitate any content or activity that sexualises, exploits or endangers anyone under 18. We apply zero tolerance and report such conduct to the competent authorities.
  3. Act without consent. Publish or distribute content depicting a person without that person's consent, or use another person's identity or likeness without authorisation.
  4. Commit fraud or financial crime. Engage in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, unauthorised payments, chargeback abuse or any scheme intended to deceive people or payment systems.
  5. Breach third-party platforms. Use our products in a way that violates the terms of service of a platform you connect to, or to circumvent security, access controls or rate limits of any third-party service.
  6. Deceive people. Send messages that misrepresent who is communicating, that conceal the involvement of automated systems where the law requires disclosure, or that constitute spam, harassment, threats or hate speech.
  7. Infringe rights. Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights of third parties.
  8. Attack systems. Introduce malware, probe or attack our infrastructure, or attempt to reverse engineer our software except where the law expressly permits it.

4. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for the content they process with our products, for the conduct of their staff and contractors, and for compliance with the laws that apply to their business, including data protection, consumer protection and rules on the transparency of automated communications.

5. Monitoring and enforcement

We may review use of our products to verify compliance with this policy and with the law. Where we identify a breach we may, depending on its seriousness, warn the customer, remove content, suspend access, or terminate the Customer Agreement with immediate effect. We cooperate with lawful requests from regulators, payment partners and law enforcement, and we preserve evidence where the law requires it.

6. Reporting misuse

Anyone can report a suspected breach of this policy by writing to [email protected]. Reports are handled under our Complaints Policy. Reports of illegal content are prioritised and acted on without delay.

7. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our products. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
